Once again, you will have to move your own furniture, but these machines are excellent for keeping the high traffic areas of your home clean and fresh. As you probably know, dirt causes carpets to wear out sooner, and since they are a major expense to replace, you want to make them last as long as you can.

That leaves a variety of aerosol and spray types of carpet cleaning chemicals. The easiest ones of these are the kind that you spray on, let dry, and vacuum off. Of course, the suction power you will be using will only be as great as your vacuum cleaner which may not effectively pull dirt from deep down in the pile.
